And, being the founder, CEO, and Chief Engineering Designer of SpaceX and Tesla, he has an awful lot going for him.

Musk is certainly a man who knows what he's doing.

He is a seriously smart guy and, quickly putting aside the Tesla Cybertruck disaster last year, his success is undeniable.

He has continuously bounced back from all of his professional disasters...

Meaning that it will certainly take a lot to drag this man down.

And it seems that 2020 is Musk's year.

Despite the devastating global pandemic that has brought millions of lives to a standstill, the businessman seems to be doing better than ever!

Firstly, the news came in that Musk was expecting a baby with Canadian electro musician, Grimes.

Musk has been dating Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, since 2018 and she revealed to the media that she was, indeed, 7-months pregnant with the billionaire's child earlier this year.

Shortly afterwards, the happy day arrived for the couple.

On May 4th, which is ironically Star Wars day, Grimes and Musk welcomed their baby into the world, with Musk sharing this adorable photo on Twitter in response to eager fans.

The little bundle of joy appeared to be in great health...

And when asked what the baby's name is, Musk replied with, "X ? A-12 Musk."

We were hoping it was going to be a joke...

But it really wasn't. The baby was actually called "X ? A-12 Musk."

                                  But despite the controversy...

Musk and Grimes seemed to be set on this unusual name, regardless of the fact that California law wouldn't actually allow them to place this name on the birth certificate.

And just weeks after the arrival of baby X ? A-12...

History was made when Musk's SpaceX successfully launched its first shuttle into space.

This was the first U.S-based human rocket launch since 2011...

And it was the first-ever?launch that involved a spacecraft that wasn't modeled and designed by NASA.

Musk was overcome with emotion after the success of his launch...

"I'm really quite overcome with emotion on this day. It's kind of hard to talk, frankly," he told reporters in a call after the launch. "I've spent eighteen-years working toward this goal, so it's hard to believe that it's happened."

Now, not all of Musk's businesses are quite so serious though...

Because, as it turns out, he quite enjoys selling novelty things.

Earlier this year Musk's Tesla website crashed due to an overload of buyers...

And it was all over some limited-edition branded red satin shorts.

                                  We know what you're thinking...

Shorts aren't exactly expected from a company that manufactures state-of-the-art vehicles, but it seems that these particular pair of shorts are very popular.

The shorts' description on Tesla's website reads:

                                  via: Tesla

"Celebrate summer with Tesla Short Shorts. Run like the wind or entertain like Liberace with our red satin and gold trim design. Relax poolside or lounge indoors year-round with our limited-edition Tesla Short Shorts, featuring our signature Tesla logo in front with 'S3XY' across the back. Enjoy exceptional comfort from the closing bell."

But the reasoning behind the launch of these exclusive Tesla shorts?

Musk has a well-documented disdain for short-sellers,?tweeting in October 2018 that "what they do should be illegal." He also?sent?assorted?shorts?to the billionaire short-seller David Einhorn in August 2018.

This isn't the only strange product that Musk has launched though...

Because, now, he has brought out a tequila named "Telsa Tequila."

This novelty idea stemmed from a jokey tweet back in April 2018, wherein he imagined that Tesla had gone bankrupt.

He had written: "Elon was found passed out against a Tesla Model 3, surrounded by "Teslaquilla" bottles, the tracks of dried tears still visible on his cheeks. This is not a forward-looking statement, because, obviously, what's the point? Happy New Month!"

Although originally a joke, he set about actually making it just a few months later.

                                  He tweeted, "Teslaquila coming soon."

But he soon ran into a problem...

                                  With the name.

Tequila is a designation of origin, meaning to call your drink tequila you have to produce it in Mexico and follow certain rules.

This sounds easy, but you also have to have it approved.

                                  But Musk's name "Teslatequila" wasn't.

The Business Insider reported that, according to The Verge, the company's effort to brand Teslaquila was blocked by Mexico's Tequila Regulatory Council.

The council argued that "[The] name 'Teslaquila' evokes the word Tequila ... (and) Tequila is a protected word."

Martín Mu?oz, the council head, explained that the name "Teslaquila" could cause confusion about the drink's origin.

And so, back in February 2019, an objection was filed.

But just a month later,?the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property ruled Teslaquila could not be registered.

Musk and his team, of course, tried to argue the case, claiming that the name was just the Tesla brand name with "quila" added on.

But this came with no success. And so they settled for, Tesla Tequila.

Speaking to The Verge, Mu?oz said:

"Today the tequila industry has someone as important as Elon Musk representing it. This is, without a doubt, a benefit to all the tequila producers because he is giving his image as an important businessman and he is showing he wants to comply with the rules of this industry. We welcome Elon Musk and the Tesla tequila brand." Telsa Tequila went on sale for $250, though it is currently sold out. So let's keep our fingers crossed for a restock soon!
