Rebel Wilson has been on a health kick this year, and all her hard work and determination is really paying off.

                                  She has revealed to fans that she has finally reached her goal weight, and her latest pictures show what an incredible transformation she's gone through.

                                  Rebel Wilson is a forty-year-old Australian actress best known for her funny side roles in films.

                                  She first broke out in Australia before moving to Hollywood blockbusters.

                                  Working on and off-stage as a comedian, her performances quickly won over audiences due to their self-deprecating nature. Who doesn't love a good joke, right?

                                  And this light-heartedness continued into her acting career.

                                  You know when characters in films are having a particularly sentimental moment in a scene and then another comes in with a very bad, but hilarious line that completely ruins the moment? Yeah? Well, that's Rebel's role in almost everything she does.

                                  She played Kristen Wiig's roommate, Brynn. The reviews for the film were exceptional, some even branding it a classic chick flick that you "shouldn't pass on".

                                  After that, Rebel had got her foot into Hollywood's door.

                                  The Aussie actress became a talking point and with her acting career only just taking off, the world became her oyster.

                                  Her second major role propelled her to superstardom...

                                  Her most famous role had to be in the Pitch Perfect films. The character brought audiences so much happiness and talk around Rebel's skills as an actor grew.

                                  The boisterous character stole the heart of audiences with her hilarious antics and her powerful singing.

                                  Her positive outlook and outspoken ways made people warm to her quickly. She also didn't really care about what she looked like, hence the name "Fat Amy."

                                  However, over time, the actress has decided to take control of her appearance.

                                  Over the years, Rebel has started taking care of her body more. There was nothing wrong with her at all, but the actress decided she wanted to be healthier and so changed up her routine to achieve her desired body type.

                                  Talking to Cosmopolitan, she revealed she had many difficulties with the inner workings of her body.

                                  "Being unique and different was a really good thing. I walked into my agent’s office for the first time, they looked at me and said, 'Wow, we have nobody on our books like you'. And they signed me on my second day here… I wouldn’t ever want to compete with what I call ‘the glamours’ – the really gorgeous people. I’m about the brain, the heart, and what’s on the inside. I feel really lucky to be the body type I am."

                                  The actress stated that she has a "hormone imbalance in her body" which means she is prone to eat, no matter her mood. We all know the after-effects of binge-eating, don't we? But Rebel said that hers was constant. She had this love-hate relationship with food.

                                  "Food is a comfort..."

                                  "I love me some ice cream or dessert, and it comes at times when I’m happy or sad. So when I have an incredibly stressful day, I want to celebrate and reward myself with food. If I’ve had a sad or stressful day, food is also comfort. You would probably describe it as emotional or stress-eating…eating is my one vice. I wouldn’t ever want to totally give it up."

                                  Rebel decided enough was enough...

                                  She lost thirty-five pounds in just a few months with the help of her celebrity friends. This sent her fans crazy, questioning just how she managed to do it. Though she claimed she started the journey in 2016, the drastic changes seem to have happened in the past year.

                                  It seems that Rebel is super serious about this new lifestyle...

                                  And she has regularly been keeping her fans updated on her progress, especially during lockdown. On this Insta post, she said: "Even if you have to crawl towards your goals, keep going, it will be worth it. Try and give a little bit of effort each day... I know some days are frustrating as hell, you feel like giving up, you get annoyed at the lack of progress... but good things are coming your way."

                                  "I’m trying to get to 75kg’s and career-wise am trying to get one of my movies into production before the end of the year! Both of these things are requiring a daily effort and there are constant setbacks - but I’m working hard."

                                  Rebel revealed to Entertainment Tonight that she lost over 3 kilos in just 4 days. "I lost 8 pounds shooting my number in 4 days," she said before disclosing that temperatures reached nearly 100 Fahrenheit on set. "One, because there’s a lot of physicalities… but also, they heated up the set very high, to almost 100 Fahrenheit, so that we could never cool down."

                                  And her most recent revelation?

                                  Well, it looks like she's finally achieved what she set out to do!

                                  She has been posting photographs showing off her amazing body...

                                  And revealed she has finally hit her goal weight!

                                  Wilson checked into a wellness center in Austria earlier this month to make sure her goals were met.

                                  She later shared her plans to do an Instagram Live for her fans when she gets back to the U.S.

                                  “I wanna go live on Insta on Tuesday night when I’m back in US to share stuff with you guys and thank everyone for their support. Sooo until then...6p NYC time," she wrote.

                                  She first stayed at VivaMayr last year and got “amazing results" from the Mayr Method diet plan the resort recommended for her.

                                  Wilson decided to ramp up her fitness plans this year and get herself feeling healthy again.

                                  The diet plan she follows reduces sugar and gluten while focusing on whole foods such as vegetables, fresh fish, and sheep’s milk yogurt.

                                  “I went back because 2021 is going to be an insanely busy year with project after project, so I wanted to come back to VivaMayr," Wilson said.

                                  She wanted to "boost [her] immune system and lose [her] last two kilos."

                                  Wilson has made her goal about feeling healthier rather than reaching a number on the scales.

                                  “You never want it to be about the number because it really isn't about that," she admitted.

                                  “It's about: I was doing some unhealthy things to my body and I just wanted to change it and become a healthier person."

                                  Since starting her “year of health," Wilson has worked with a nutritionist, who made her realize she was "eating 3,000 calories most days" which were mostly carbs, that have now been replaced with high protein foods.

                                  Part of the journey has been trying to find a “healthy balance" where cravings are concerned and try not to obsess over the numbers on the scale.

                                  “I would say to everyone out there don't be obsessed about how much you actually weigh," she said. “It's more about all the healthy practices, and then the changes to your whole lifestyle."

                                  She then announced over the weekend that she's finally down to seventy-five kilos, which was the goal she set to achieve by the end of this year.

                                  “Hit my goal with one month to spare!" the star wrote on her Instagram Story, alongside a photograph of her scale. “Even though it’s not about a weight number, it’s about being healthy, I needed a tangible measurement to have as a goal and that was 75 kg’s." Congratulations, Rebel!
