A record-breaking baby girl is technically twenty-seven years old, making her 2 years older than her mom! Confused and intrigued?

                                  Then read on...

                                  Thanks to modern-day science...

It is now easier than ever to start a family.

If a person or a couple is unable to conceive a child naturally...

There are now so many options to make their dreams of becoming parents happen, such as IVF treatment and embryo freezing.

Of course, many of these options are very expensive...

But it's totally worth it to have a baby, right?

Well, one family has recently proven the remarkable powers of science through their 2 daughters...

And it's utterly staggering how this form of conception has even been made possible!

People are both amazed and stunned by their story, to say the least...

Tina and Benjamin Gibson are the proud parents to their 2 daughters, 3-year-old Emma and newborn Molly.

The family, from Tennessee, found out shortly after their marriage 7 years ago that they were unable to conceive a baby naturally. "My husband has cystic fibrosis, so infertility is common," Tina told CNN, adding that they had found peace with it. "We had decided that we were more than likely going to adopt, and we were fine with that."

Before trying to implant an embryo, they fostered several children and enjoyed doing so.

But it was Tina's father who planted the seed of using a frozen embryo to conceive. "I saw something on the news today. It's called embryo adoption, and they would implant an embryo in you, and you could carry a baby," he told his daughter.

When Tina told Benjamin about her dad's suggestion, he admitted that it was something he'd already thought about.

The couple soon filled out an application for embryo donation and a few months later when Tina was ready for the implantation procedure, they had the task of looking through the hundreds of donors. "It was overwhelming," Tina said. "There were so many, and it's like, how do you pick?" Nonetheless, they narrowed the choice to couples who were short in stature — “we’re both small people," laughed Tina — before considering the donors’ health backgrounds.

When Tina and Benjamin finally settled on a chosen embryo, it was prepared to be transferred into Tina's body.

But on that very transfer day, the couple discovered that it was a potentially "record-breaking" embryo due to it being conceived twenty-four years ago. Yet, despite its old age, it proved to still be highly effective as the embryo soon turned into baby Emma, who was born in 2017.

NEDC lab director Dr. Carol Sommerfelt, who supervised the embryo thawing process, spoke of the miraculous occurrence.

"As long as the embryos are maintained correctly in the liquid nitrogen storage tank at minus 396 degrees, we feel they may be good indefinitely," she told the NY Post.

Even though Tina and Benjamin had no biological relation to baby Emma...

They were immediately smitten and immediately formed a little family.

After a couple of years with Emma, who the parents described as "the light of their lives", they decided they wanted to give her a sibling...

And deciding to transfer the two remaining embryos from the same donors was a no-brainer!

5 weeks ago, baby Molly came into the world...

And unbelievably, the little girl has broken yet another record by technically being twenty-seven years old.

Yep, the embryo used to conceive Molly had been frozen for twenty-seven years...

And to make things even more bizarre, Molly is technically eighteen months older than her mom, who is twenty-nine-years-old. My head is hurting too, don't worry!

But all that matters to the family is that they've got their girls, healthy and happy.

"It’s hard to wrap your head around it, but, as far as we’re concerned, Molly is our little miracle," Tina explained.

                                  What an amazing miracle!
