Rumors of the destruction of Prince Harry's relationship with his father and older brother have been circulating for quite some time now...
And it's clear that there's a lot of tension between the royals.
But now, some more details have emerged which explains why it might be difficult for them to reconcile...
And believe us when we say this, things aren't sounding too good right now...
A royal expert has claimed that William and Charles will not be "extending their open arms again," after Harry "went too far."
Read on to find out what the full conversation was like.
Now, this whole controversy started in 2016 when Prince Harry started dating Los Angeles-based actress, Meghan Markle.
via: GettyMeghan's career as an actress seemed to be instantly swapped for a life fulfilling royal duties and there's no denying how she immediately revolutionized the royal family.
Meghan started joining Harry on royal trips and tours...
via: GettyAnd there was no denying how happy they looked together.
After a year of dating, the couple announced their engagement...
Much to the delight of their fan-base worldwide!
They married in the historical Windsor Castle in May, 2018...
via: GettyWhich made Meghan an official part of the royal family. She relocated to London and was given the title, the Duchess of Sussex.
The couple announced their pregnancy shortly after the wedding...
And Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born in May of 2019.
Even though the little family seemed to radiate with happiness...
via: GettyThings were far from the case behind the scenes as Meghan was relentlessly attacked by the British press and public.
Anything she did or said...
via: GettyThe British media had something to say about it. Whether she was being branded as a diva, a control-freak, a "monarchy ruiner," and even a bad mother, Meghan received it all.
This prompted the couple to make the bold decision to step down from royal duties earlier this year.
In a joint statement, the couple said that they wanted "a normal upbringing for their child" and they feel that spending their time between the U.K. and America would be much more appropriate for their family environment.
This came as a huge shock worldwide...
via: GettyBut nobody was more shocked than those in the royal family.
Harry's relationship with his brother William also came under strain following his departure.
via: GettyThe future King of England was reported to have distanced himself from Harry and Meghan and the pair didn't speak for months.
It's terribly sad to learn of the brothers' separation...
It seems that William was cautious of Meghan from the get-go.
"Don’t feel you need to rush this," William told Harry in 2016, according to Royal sources, "Take as much time as you need to get to know this girl."
Harry reportedly didn't appreciate William referring to Meghan as "this girl."
via: Getty"Harry heard the tone of the snobbishness that was anathema to his approach to the world. During his 10-year career in the military, outside the royal bubble, he had learned not to make snap judgments of people based on their accent, education, ethnicity class or profession."
This tension continued to grow following a conversation between the brothers about Harry and Meghan's engagement.
via: GettyWilliam continued to warn Harry, which is something Harry didn't do when it came to William and Kate's engagement. "What made it very hurtful for Harry is that he has always given William his full support particularly with Kate. Not everyone adored Kate Middleton in the beginning. Some of William’s friends were snobbish about Kate, but Harry gave her the thumbs up from the outset and he expected the same loyalty back from William."
William felt his brother was abandoning his sense of duty and birthright...
Especially when Harry supposedly "snubbed" the Queen's by not joining her and the Cambridges for a summer holiday to Balmoral.
Following Harry and Meghan's wedding, the brothers began spending less and less time with one another...
via: GettyAnd when the Sussexes' made the decision to step down from royal duties and relocate to L.A, the brothers were barely on speaking terms.
Neither of the brothers has yet publicly spoken out about their feud...
via: GettyNot even after rumors of a "bitter explosion" erupted between them both.
It was reportedly so bad, that the late Diana's brother, Charles Spencer, was forced to intervene for his nephews.
via: GettyAccording to a new excerpt from?Battle of Brothers, the book by royal expert Robert Lacey, "From time to time Diana’s younger brother had played something of an honorary godfather to both boys in the years since the death of their mother, and their uncle agreed with William to see what he could do."
The result of the Spencer intervention was an even more bitter explosion, however.
via: Getty"Once again Harry refused to slow down. He didn’t blame his uncle, but he understood why Diana’s brother should want to help. Yet he was furious with his elder brother for dragging other family members into the row."
But after the reasons behind the bitter feud were made public via the Oprah interview, it was clear why Harry had to get his family away.
Racism, tough restrictions and the media all played a crucial part in the destruction of the royal family.
However, after Prince Phillip's funeral, we saw some signs of hope for reconciliation.
Reports stated that William even waited for his younger brother after the event and they walked away together.
We even heard that Harry penned an emotional letter to his father.
But even despite these little pockets of light, it seems as though royal experts aren't sure if things will ever patch up properly.
Royal writer Charlie Rae told talkRADIO that they're very unlikely "to open up their arms again" to Harry.
When the host of the show Kevin O'Sullivan said "We read that Harry was shocked by the frosty reception he got from some members of the Royal Family," Rae answered: "Out in the US, Harry looks like a startled rabbit caught in the headlights."
"I believe that this is a problem that will never go away, it will not be solved.
"I do not believe that William and Charles will be extending their open arms again to Harry in the light of what he said.
"They sla**ed off Kate. I think it's too far now."
Another royal expert, Christina Garibaldi also added that "Charles is still fuming about Harry throwing shade at him and the Royal Family in the big interview and won't let it drop.
"After the damage, Harry has caused the family he firmly believes that his son doesn't deserve the privilege of being a royal."
Who knows if Harry and his family will repair the cracks in their relationship...
And only time will tell if the brothers will decide to put aside their differences and reunite as a family.
