It turns out that TikTok - the video-making app that allows users to create short videos that very quickly go viral - isn't full of just funny animal videos...
Some of the videos can actually be pretty informative.
A TikTok video has shocked the internet this week as it claims to explain how you can go "anywhere in the universe" you want...
And it's so interesting!
TikTok is absolutely taking over the world. It's pretty unlikely that you'll see a teenager who isn't obsessed with the social media platform.
It's not just teenagers who are obsessed with social media...
via: Getty ImagesThe majority of us adults are too, with us posting every inch of our lives on these apps and communicating with others through them solely.
A lot of social media apps provide many purposes...
via: ShutterstockPeople can actually earn a living through social media, such as selling things on Instagram or starting a business through Twitter.
But there are some apps that aren't so productive...And TikTok is one of them!
A lot of people are struggling to understand exactly what TikTok is...Basically, it is an iOS and Android app made for creating and sharing short lip-sync, comedy, and talent videos.
It went viral pretty quick ...It was the world's fourth most downloaded app in 2018, beating Instagram and Snapchat - which is a pretty big achievement!
It has been argued that TikTok is better than Vine...Who remembers Vine? Launched in 2012, Vine was a short-form video hosting service that allowed users to share 6-second-long looping video clips.
TikTok videos look a little something like this...

The rise of superstars...
Some are just plain weird...
It can now be established that TikTok is just a space for weird videos.
But there's one new TikTok that's taking the internet by storm.
It's truly bizarre!
Sydney Wilson is a popular TikToker who uploads videos about astral projection.
Wilson claims that you can have an out-of-body experience and go "anywhere in the universe" you want using astral projection.
But, what is it?
"So I've only seen a few TikToks on this and I don't know why because there needs to be more, but we really need to talk about astral projection, because every person should know about this," Wilson explains in one video.
"It's basically when your soul leaves your body and you have an out-of-body experience."
"Anyone can do it, you just have to get yourself into a really relaxed state of mind and basically think about wanting to astral project."
However, before you astral project, there's a few steps she recommends first...
"First you need to find a time where you will not be disturbed or interrupted. It makes no difference what time of day or night you choose, just as long as you know you won't be interrupted," she explains.
"Next, you want to make sure you have eaten lightly during the previous 24 hours. Vegetables and fruit are the best foods to eat on the days you want to astral travel."
"When we sit down and relax, we normally start thinking about all the things we should be doing… all these things need to be put aside before you can successfully leave your body."
She also recommends projecting from a couch or reclining chair for your first time, as your bed is a place associated with sleep.
Wilson claims that once you've taken the necessary steps and your soul leaves your body you'll be able to go anywhere in the universe.
"When I say anywhere, I mean absolutely anywhere… you just think about where you wanna go, and you're instantly taken there. You can literally go to Mars," she said in one video.
